Outreach Overview

Outreach Overview

We treat children ages 18 months to 18 years throughout the greater Denver Metro Area and the Western Slope. Treatment is provided for children with an autism spectrum disorder or with related social or communication needs and is based on many empirically supported treatments. Our team is made up of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who oversee the treatment of each child in the program. We use treatment that is based in the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Firefly Autism offers a variety of outreach services to complement our center based programs.

Services include:

  • Home consultation and behavioral therapy
  • School consultation
  • Program/educational development
  • Professional/agency development & training
  • Social Skills Groups

In-Home Services

Our Outreach Team offers home consultation and behavioral therapy for children whose families want individualized home or community based services for their child. Our mission is to work with children and their families to create goals, teaching techniques and adaptive behaviors that are most appropriate for each child in order for them successfully participate in home and community life.

Treatment plans address cognitive and behavioral skills, with emphasize on developing positive social-emotional relationships, as well as communication, functional life skills, and adaptive behaviors. Goals and learning objectives are created in collaboration with families. We also use a parent engagement model involving parents in the goals and implementation of the programming. In this way, families can be successful every day even if a consultant is not always around to help.

If you would like home based behavioral services, please see our “Getting Started” to access our Intake Packet and other helpful information.
