Firefly Autism is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit organization, known for its premier autism treatment services. Firefly utilizes the nationally accepted industry standard, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method and approach. This method uses Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who manage and direct individualized programs for each child. Firefly helps children from preschool age to 18 years old who are dealing with autism spectrum disorders. Western Slope Behavior Services provides one-on-one, in home services as well as facility based services.
“This is very exciting for me, personally, to get to see my vision for excellence in ABA services start coming to fruition,” stated Amanda Chaffin, BCaBA, Founder and Director of Western Slope Behavior Services. “This partnership allows us to offer the best in ABA services, and expand services in western Colorado. I’ll also be able to focus on my passion and work more directly with the children.”
“Autism is now classified as an epidemic by the Centers for Disease Control, affecting one in 88 children,” said Jason Romero, the Executive Director of Firefly Autism. “The need for services has increased and Firefly Autism is proud to be a partner with Western Slope Behavior Services. Also, as a non-profit organization we’ll look forward to being a partner in the community.”
